Tawny owl branching season is very much upon us

and the tawny owl has had a bumper breeding year, so it seems.

If you come across a branching tawny floof, please leave him alone but monitor if you feel that he may have gotten into trouble.

These little guys can climb very well back up trees at this stage and often misjudge their landings, leading them to fall to the floor.

Mum is never too far away even if you do not see her.

If you have to move a tawny floof, please move it from danger and put it close to the trunk of a large tree for them to climb back up.
